Jesse is the Executive Director of The Green Heart Project, a community-based nonprofit organization in Charleston, South Carolina, which uses school gardens and urban farms to educate students and cultivate community. He is also the Project Manager for the SC Food Systems Network, a statewide network of organizations working to build a thriving local food system in the state of South Carolina. In both of these roles, Jesse is inspired to help community members and institutions engage in the shared joy of growing and eating food.
