j. olu has been the Urban Agriculture Director for the City of Atlanta for almost three years, where he works toward a vision of 85% of Atlantans living within ½ mile of affordable, fresh food. j. olu studied at Morehouse College and started his entrepreneurial career with ThePopShop, a locally sourced ice pop operation. His following ventures have centered around increasing access to high-quality, healthy, and fresh foods. He is also a board member of the Sustainable Agriculture & Food Systems Funders (SAFSF).
